If you spend much time on the internet, you might notice that there are a lot of great organizations out there that support our military. One of the blessings about working for Military Missions is meeting all of the awesome people out there that truly have a heart to serve our troops. There are military moms, wives, and friends, as well as former military personnel, that have started grass roots organizations to reach our troops and their families. On this page, we will add links to sites of those that share our vision of support and encouragement. If you are interested i adding a link to your website, and working together with us to support our military, please contact us at militarymissions@insightbb.com.

Randy Kington is positive proof that barriers can be overcome. Randy's courage, his refusal to give up, and a strong faith in God sustained him through times that would defeat most. After 9 months of the most intense fighting of the Vietnam War, 19 year old Kington was severaly wounded in an encounter with the enemy on March 21, 1966. The injury left him paralyzed from the chest down and in a wheelchair for the remainder of his life.
Randy's life and inspirational message informs listeners about the price that was paid to triumph over the most difficult of obstacles and the rewards that came by overcoming.

Tricia and Nikki started Daddy Dolls after witnessing first hand how hard military deployments were on their children. With both of their husbands being Marines and both having been deployed twice in less than two years, the absence of daddy was beginning to take its toll on our their children as well as those of dear friends. Tricia and Nikki wanted to find some way to make the separation easier for their sons and daughters while keeping their fathers close to their hearts and in their prayers. With their determination to bridge the gap and Aunt Mary's creativity, Daddy Dolls were born!
After seeing the amazing response from their own children, Tricia and Nikki realized that there were many children out there, not just military, that could use a doll of that special someone that was far away. Their children not only play with their Daddy Dolls, but also rely on them for strength during trying times like doctor's visits or when they need an "owie" kissed. Sometimes only that distant loved one will do! They have also become a part of story time and grocery shopping. You never know where that Hug A Hero™ Doll might want to go!

JD Johannes, a former US Marine, traveled to Iraq as an embedded reporter with the platoon from his old unit—the 24th Marine Reserve Regiment. The reserve unit was attached to 2nd Tank Battalion, Anti-Tank Platoon for deployment to Al Anbar Province in 2005. JD shot video of the Marines in action. He interviewed them and observed them first hand, accompanying them on missions during the deployment. JD was able to shoot footage that tells us what it is really like for the Marines during a deployment for an infantry unit. There is more to the story than just the daily car bombings that we hear about from major news networks. JD's reports were syndicated to television stations in Kansas and Missouri. To find out more about how to order the documentary, Outside the Wire, go to
*There is an edited version of the documentary available that excludes explicit language. Be sure to take note of the choice when ordering the documentary.
**Cpl David Pennington, son of Military Missions' founder, Beth Pennington, was a part of this deployment. He was a member of the Anti-Tank Platoon from Camp Lejeune, NC, during the 2005 deployment. The Pennington family has been blessed with the opportunity to get to know many of the Marines that served during this deployment. Supporting this effort and spreading the word about the service of our US Marines is a privilege and an honor!
