Outside the Wire

JD Johannes, a former US Marine, traveled to Iraq as an embedded reporter with the platoon from his old unit—the 24th Marine Reserve Regiment.  The reserve unit was attached to 2nd Tank Battalion, Anti-Tank Platoon for deployment to Al Anbar Province in 2005.  JD shot video of the Marines in action.  He interviewed them and observed them first hand, accompanying them on missions during the deployment.   To find out more about how to order the documentary, Outside the Wire, go to
