Veterans and their families will receive free tickets to the home UK football game against Louisiana-Monroe.

GATES OPEN AT 11:00 AM

 Keeneland salutes military families.  All active and inactive members of the military and their families will receive free general admission with a military ID.  Keeneland and Military Missions, Inc. are also collecting items for holiday care packages for Kentucky's deployed service men and women.

Proceeds will be donated to the "Gifts for Veterans Project" which provides gifts for inpatients and homeless veterans on Christmas Day at the Lexington VA Medical Center

KENTUCKY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

FRANKFORT, KENTUCKY 

The Kentucky Historical Society, along with Downtown Frankfort, Inc., is making plans for the annual Candlelight Tour that celebrates the opening of the holiday season on November 12-14.  As part of this annual event, the museum is honoring Kentucky military families in a number of ways. 

Visit the new Kentucky Military Treasures Exhibit.  Bring a donation to add to Christmas care packages being sent overseas to our deployed Kentucky troops.  Enjoy the 12 foot Christmas tree adorned with ornaments honoring our Kentucky soldiers currently deployed. Participate in Frankfort's annual Candlelight Tour.  For more information about this event, click here.
